evening cranky, well i was 'supposed' to be buying myself my new digi cam @ £110 on my birthday (31st). The one i have now is nearly 4 years old and falling to pieces. However there is no way i can afford it so i am bringing out another one of my money boxes to save for it. So i brought myself a knit your own monkey kit @ £14.99. However i can use the pattern again and again to sell on my website :j so really i was only £2.45 over budget this week :rotfl:

Awww, sorry you can't have the present that you wanted. :rotfl: at knit your own monkey though!
  • so my first weekly challenge went down in flames!!! Go on, turn me red. (there should be neon signs to go around this lot LOL)

Budget was £40 but in addition to going to cinema twice, going to Manchester to see Take That and buying a wii, i went slightly over. Havent done the exact total because its too demorilising but at last count i was over £450 spends.

I dont know what to do next week. I only have one present to still buy which is £120 and also have shopping and debts to pay so I think I am going to bow out this week but will be back after christmas.

    Good luck everyone :)

    Hi everyone

I would like to join this week for the first time :D . Need to reign in my little spending here and there!! Greggs has a lot to answer for during the working week ;) .

Not sure what my budget should be. I've got a Christmas meal on Friday which I'm going to budget £10 for (good old Wetherspoons :rotfl: ), I've got to post some Ebay items but I am going to try to use some stamps that I already have as much as I can so will budget another £10 for that and then I will probably have to get some petrol at the end of the week so that's another £10.

Put me down for £30 please :D

  • Hi PAP - well what's left in my purse is £15!! So did well out of my £30 budget!!:j

It's a round number as I put all my change into the collection tray at my son's school carol service (which was lovely by the way:A )

This doesn't include xmas/grocery spending though (different budgets;) )

Put me down for £30 again please PAP!!!

  • Evening pap,

I'll re-join this thread (AGAIN) if I may?

This week shouldn't be too bad as I have all my Xmas pressies; need food but have nectar points and &more (M&S) vouchers for that.

Will say £40 as I do need petrol.
