If you have health issues which would be impacted by the job then you can flag that up. Its also possible tht there might be alternative opportunities or adjustments which could be made to accommodate that.

However, as others are saying, refusing to attend,or refusing to accept a job which it appears you can do would potentially result in sanctions.

All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)

I want to make it clear that I am not refusing the job simply because I don't want it.  It is because I don't want to make my existing health condition any worse.
I have been to the hospital regularly for my condition, but it isn't one that can be cured with a few soothing words or a box of tablets.  Luckily for me, I have kept these letters and I intend to show them to my advisor if my illness is questioned - just because you can't see it, it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Have you got a fit note for you illness or is it an illness which you can manage whilst working?
It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun
