Applying for a loan just after moving into new property - AA Loan

Hi,

We are due to be moving into our new property Early August.
After battling to find a decent mortgage lender and have our mortgage offered to us we were presented with Halifax who would take us on.

My credit score is 'Good' - All my current credit card debts will be paid off before the mortgage funds are released.

How long after should I wait to then take out a personal loan? We will be looking for a loan for home improvments.
The paid off debt may not show straight away on my credit file, is it worth waiting for these to show on my credit file before applying for a loan?

Going through a couple comparison sites I have a 95% chance that AA will take me on at the APR presented to me.
Has any one taken out a loan with AA? if so, do they stick with the APR presented at the first 'soft check' stage?

We want to get a loan paid out ASAP really, as soon as we move in.

The AA loan is really appealing to me and ticks every box, if anyone has had any experience with AA and their loans please do let me know.

Thanks

Difficult to say when is the best time to apply for credit. The longer the better to allow your change of address to fall into the past.

AA is a credit broker, not a lender.

I am in the same situation, I am going to apply immediately on the same day the mortgage completes and the bank has paid out etc. We are looking at completion on 25th July. I am going to apply using my current details and change my address after.
