I've seen this programme before Tig - you know when I said I'd seen it on TV? This was it!

Just watching it now - its actually a bit different.

This baby has an exomphalous (the organs are enclosed in a sac (my neighbours baby had this)) but Tig had gastroschisis (the organ/s are free floating in the amniotic fluid)

The couple however are member of one of the support groups I belong to and I remember her posting about the programme now I come to think of it.

I think I've seen one with the organs floating too - they put them in a bag when the baby was born, and then gradually put them back into the correct place. Very scary and weird, but incredible!

Tig I went to a school with a boy who was born with them outside, no sack, I was suprised how small and faint the scar was when they were older.

Snaggles, I was just watching that too, brings back awful memories of when DS2 was little, especially when he was a baby as his asthmas was very bad then, he's thankfully almost attack free now.
One day I might be more organised...........

That must have been frightening - I have asthma but thankfully it's mild and I've only ever had one trip to hospital, and even then I was just treated in A&E and not admitted. It's awful when your kids are ill though.

Tig has quite a large scar but its faded amazingly in 5 years so I would imagine it will even more.

Glad that your DS2 is doing better now ~ it must be so sacry!!
