What will teachers pension increase by this year? 10% CPI?

    Not a clue - simple answer is to look at the scheme rules.

    By the previous years sept CPI
  • The increase to be applied this year (2022) has already been agreed at 3.1%.

    The increase for next year (April 2023) would normally be based on the September 2022 CPI figure.  Expected to be in the region of 9%.

    ..assume it's the same as the state / nhs pension?...which is whatever the CPI is for the 12 months to Sept the previous year...so probably around 9%...'ish???

    I think the next few years could highlight the massive difference between govt db, db and dc pensions
     The govt db pensions really are the gold standard when it comes to pensions.
    It's just my opinion and not advice.
