I have noticed that Skipton have set up a direct debit in my account, is this a positive sign?🫣😂
I’m too scared to be hopeful!0 -
If the valuation comes back ok, you get your offer and then solicitors take over.
The last case I sent to Skipton (I think it was May time) we had the offer in 92 minutes! It was a remortgage so slightly easier but impressive none the less.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Valuation has been done today, but no news as of yet. I can now understand what all the members on this forum mean by ‘anxiety levels hit the roof’ 😫0

Have not heard anything back from Skipton or the EA regarding the low valuation or the Mortgage offer, stressful times 😫0

I don’t think the vendor will lower their price and am worried the mortgage will be declined because of this0

@GMortgageadvice Sorry to hear about the down-val.
What is the maximum deposit that you can put in? That will determine the options you may have with Skipton.
If the numbers don't add up, unless you are limited to Skipton for whatever reason, your broker could also try another lender that uses a different surveyor panel to Connells.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
