The MSE Deals team has published its Amazon Prime Day predictions and tips ahead of the sales event.

Predictions include up to 50% off Echo speakers and up to 30% off Fitbits.

Tips include how to get access to Prime deals for free and how to work out what's a good deal.

On Prime Day itself (12-13 July), the Deals team will be rounding up and analysing the best deals, so check back on the Prime Day page then.

Important: Don’t allow yourself to be taken in by the hype and sucked into buying something you don’t need or can’t afford. Always do your own price comparisons to ensure you're getting the best deal possible.

The offer is for Prime members only, until 11.59pm on Wednesday 13 July.

The Deals team also spotted some duds - deals that they've seen cheaper either just before Prime Day, or within the last year or so:

Lots of good deals on coffee beans - Der Franz and note d'espresso under £5 a kilo. I've not tried Der-Franz before, but for £3.50/kg, I'll give it a whirl.
