Changed default date to after bankruptcy

Options
Here is the last letter I received

“ We are writing to you in regard to the Bankruptcy you have recently informed us about. We would like to apologise for the late response and thank you for your patience regarding this matter.

Kindly note that due to the discharge we are unable to confirm your bankruptcy using the Insolvency Register and we kindly ask that you provide us with the relevant documentation showing the bankruptcy approval as we are unable to take any actions on your sold account ********** and credit file before receiving this.

I can assure you that once the documentation has been received and processed this agreement will be adhered to on our end.

Once again, we apologise for the late reply and we look forward to hearing from you!

” The discharge is always exactly 1 year after you should know this

You can find all the documents on the insolvency register ”

Unless you are within three months of the discharge date, your bankruptcy will no longer be on the insolvency register.

There are no documents attached to the register - it's just a statement of current insolvency. As Sonic says, this disappears  three months after the discharge date

Not always, the OR could have gone to court for a suspension of discharge.
  • The point is this debt was included in the BR but they put the default date just after 😔
  • On the six year anniversary I will have to wait a little longer for this one to drop off and have a clean slate again

Well in that case it will be longer than a year

my point is that my bankruptcy was at least 12 months prior to discharge so I shouldn’t have to prove that
