Mortgage in France

I'm not sure if anyone can advise as this relates to purchasing property abroad but what are the general requirements in French lending industry for expats, if I was to move out of UK and try to buy a property there?
One option is my partner alone, first time buyer
One option is my partner alone, first time buyer
Another option we buy together but I already have a property in the UK that I'd be willing to let through an agency.
My main interest is whether you need certain number of years living in France before you can apply, minimum deposit required (e.g.50%) and/or minimums salary and length of service in France. Whether buying together is possible if I already have a mortgage in the UK?
Many thanks in advance.

Do you have the right to live in France post Brexit? That might be a bigger issue.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
