I stopped taking my handbag out with me when Covid started and only carried a couple of cards, and have continued to do this.

I went to the gym, didnt take my purse and popped into the supermarket to get my shopping. Got to the till and was then told that their contactless wasnt working and it was only cash or physical cards. The one time I didnt have my purse on me! I wouldnt do that again.0

I carry a Curve card that stores all my debit and credit cards. It is honestly a life changer for situations where you can't use your phone (plus I have my Curve card in my Apple wallet for when I can!), along with my driving licence. That means my wallet is super flat from Tumi and not feel like I'm hauling a sink around with me in my pocket 😂

What is a Curve card0

No wallet for over 30/35 years
Cash notes and change in car.
When required, cc in my pocket.
or stuff 10/20 notes in my pocket when I know
I'm going to buy something.
In the past we ie me and wife went out together hence I carry nothing
and she carries a small purse or credit card holder with notes in it.

I’m a 50+ male who hasn’t used a wallet for 2.5 years, withdraws cash about once every 5 years and was a little surprised at how many still use a wallet. Mine was stuffed with credit/debit cards, driving ,licence, donor card, charity gift aid cards and loyalty cards. Most of that is on my phone or not required. However, the main driver was the pain my wallet caused in the top of my leg when walking!0

Never use a wallet. Cash/cards in pocket. Other membership/store cards kept in house and only take them when using them. Never had a problem.0
