Had a few quotes now, couple from nationwide companies but a local company to me which gets great reviews and actually came around to do a proper survey has come back with the following quote
22x 390w JA Solar Panels
1x 6kw Solis Hybrid inverter
2x 5kWh Puredrive Battery storage units
Scaffold Installation to East and West roofs.
Bird Protection.
MCS Certificate.
IWA Insurance backed warranty - 10 Years
£15,553.12
My house is a split Easy/West roof

Sounds fairly reasonable and difficult to beat in this climate if you think of £1 per Wp and £500 per kWh of battery.
8.6kWp £8600 + 10kWh £5000 = £13600.
+ Two bits of scaffolding costs, rear elevation looks complicated too. + Current market is crazy busy and everything is going up in price. Bird proofing included.
The Solis has a max of 8kW DC input, but I suspect with an east/west split it's probably never going to hit that at the same time?
Make sure they get a g99 application in first.2
