£10 off £75 voucher

I'm not a new customer but been given this from Sainsbury on a paper voucher.

Is this a good deal? My normal weekly spend doesn't equate to this much but I could stock up. Is this worth it? I know new customers get £15 off 60

If you are buying goods you would normally get from Sainsbury's and can afford to spend £75 in one go then there re no real downsides.  Why not stock up on non perishables or things with a relatively long shelf life especially if they are also on offer.

I think the sums for existing customers are usually determined by how much they see you actually spending at the moment, and hoiking it up a bit to encourage you to spend just a bit more.
We used to occasionally get £10 off £40 coupons, which we could just about manage to use, but once we started spending that amount in a single shop the coupons went up to £15 off £60, which was far too much for us so we simply didn't use them, and after a while we'd start to get offered the £10 off £40 ones again...

Providing you can afford it and have storage space then no problems.  We use the voucher offers to stock up on toilet rolls, cleaning materials, tinned goods etc especially so if some of our normal shop non perishable items are on offer.  If it is stuff you are going to buy anyway and can balance the budget then it is a saving.  We often bulk up on offer prices anyway but do consider ourselves "savvy shoppers" - currently have 20 litres of MrsM's favourite fruit juice on the shelf. which she uses at 2 - 3 per week, as it is currently at 40% off and has a date of Mar 23.

It's also nice if you would get close to £75 (maybe just to £70?) with your normal shopping but by buying something premium rather than standard you get the overall bill to £75 but only have to pay £65 instead of the £70.

Likewise I've managed this a couple of times when I knew I had a voucher, thought I'd got enough things and found myself 50p short of the target amount.  Grab a 60p pack of gum and save £10.

You could even pick up some extras to sling in the food bank box by the exit!
