Hi All

I am a few months into the process of defaults and setting up payments.

Mostly I have tried to remain upbeat and not wallow in the situation as that does not help.

But today I feel so lost, I had begun to build up an emergency fund, this has been wiped out in a week because of various issues car problems/vet visits, you name it, it’s happened. To top it off, I am short on my mortgage payment and I feel like an absolute failure. I am trying everything to make this up, selling items, cutting any bills that are left to go out this month.

I am so angry and upset with myself that I have let things get like this in the beginning! 

Is it just me that seems to go through a multitude of emotions going through this process?

I am hopeful that tomorrow I will pick myself up again but today I feel like I just needed to get something down on a page hoping it might feel like venting and getting rid of these emotions.

I am a very down person today

Oh I feel for you, I remember those days. Is there anyone you can borrow the shortfall from, just until you next get money in? You are in the right frame of mind now to tackle this and it will get better. Take a deep breath and see if there are any other things you can list for sale. Good luck V x

Thank you-no there is no one.

But I have had a bit of a cry about it, started pulling a few more bits out to sell that I have listed.

There is nothing I can do about it over night. So I have had to adjust my thinking that my mortgage payment will not be on time but I will do everything I can to still make it in full this month so that it does not drag into next month.
