Morning
if I have £5k I can invest this week .
I have seen my S&S ISA fall 15% which I know should eventually return .
is now a good time to pay this lump sum in or is now a good time to pay into bank savings ?
thanks

When do you think you'll need the cash? If it's not for five years, now is always a good time to invest.1

Now- presuming it’s not your every last penny to your name, you are anticipating holding for at least 5 years and likely 10, you will have more money to invest in the next 6 months to 1 year and you’re investing in some broad diversified global fund.Oh and consider a pension over an ISA .0

Now would be a better time to invest it than if you were to wait until your 15% fall has been recovered, and then invest it.Mick70 said:Morning

You might be better waiting a month or two, or six months, or a year or two. Who knows.
It depends on when you want access to the 5k.Mortgage free

If you are really asking ' has the market reached the bottom' then nobody can tell you that, unless they can see the future .
