House Value - Road Type

Hi
Looking at buying a house. There are 2 identical 3 bed detached houses for sale on the same residential road in a quite village.
One half of the road is single track, with no pavements or curbside parking available but a reasonably good driveway. The other, (which has the same size drive,) is on a two way traffic part of the road, with a pavement.
In your opinion which house would be more appealing, higher in value? Or wouldn't it make a difference?

Probably personal preference, but I would prefer the one fronting the wider road with a pavement.Unless it's one of those pavements which nearby residents use to dump/park their cars. If that is the case and the other single track road has no one parking on it, then I'd prefer the single track.1

When its raining or snowing, is the single track likely to get muddy or is it all bumpy?
I dont think I would be overly fussed personally, both have pros and cons I suppose. Thank you for your reply. The whole road is tarmac,. Only difference is that it's only wide enough for one car to pass. Could possibly make reserving off the driveway more tricky. I was mainly asking, as I wasn't sure how much people liked a pavement and the possibly of curbside parking. Who owns the bit of the road? If either is a private road it can make it more costly. Id go for the one with a proper road as its more likely to be owned by the council and their responsibility to maintain. Sorry if I've misunderstood the description.2

From your description it sounds like one is located on a main adopted section of road and the other is located on a shared private driveway.
In that situation I would always opt for the one on the adopted highway (road with footpaths).
Shared private driveways cause nothing but arguments between neighbours.2 -

The road is adopted and each house has its own driveway. The first 20 meters of the road at one end, is single track and weight restriced. There are no pavements along this part of the road and pedestrians use the driveways of the 3 house here, to allow cars to pass.
I'm not sure which one I prefer. But I do want to choose the one which is more appealing to most people for resale purposes.
