    Also just realised that my pool pump is probably twice as powerful as I need - which could save me 1600Kwh if I swap it out for one half the power that is better sized for my application.

    Have also realised one of the other options I was recommended probably wouldn't work.  The Growatt 6000 hybrid inverter has a max battery charge rating of 3kw, so would only be able to charge 12kwh in a 4 hour window.

    Installation companies seem to struggle with anything non vanilla

    Fit two inverters and two batteries, then you'll get 6kW of charging, 24kWh in 4 hrs?
    (Of course the four-hour window isn't a problem with a Powerwall, and on the TEP there's no need to charge it anyway ...)

    Yes, you pay for the convenience of not having to worry about it.

    Instead of two hybrid inverters, I think I'd go micro inverter or solar edge and then multiple ac couplers.

    Struggling to get quotes for options that would actually work!
