Stamp Duty Refund

Hello! 

I am trying to seek some clarification on the Stamp Duty Refund process....

Myself and husband bought an additional property during the 'Stamp Duty Holiday' during the pandemic (November 2020). We paid a reduced Stamp Duty rate of £19,000 on a property price of £540,000. We have since sold our main residence with the new property becoming our main residence (June 2022)

Are we eligible to apply for the Stamp Duty refund?
How am I able to work out the refund?

@nicrichjones Based on the limited info in your post, you should be eligible for a refund of the 3% surcharge that you paid on the current property, so £16,200.
