Shall we use JKenH's one - I like the fact it's not restricted to BEVs. Because who knows what the future holds?0

I suspect that had these vehicles not been electric, the words "ICE" or "petrol engined" would not have appeared in the headline.

Many thanks Nick. I think the choice will help greatly.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.0 -
I guess we should all be happy that BEVs are now so popular that 'Pure news' & 'Discussion' needs splitting. The future will hopefully require more division of BEV topics.Martyn1981 said:Many thanks Nick. Toyota sabotage their own EV to 'prove' that there isn't the demand there and the tech isn't ready - is surely not the only explanation for why there would be a problem with something as basic (and non-ev specific) as wheel bolts....1961Nick said:2 leading articles on BBC news this morning:

Elon did say that designing EVs was easy but manufacturing was difficult... I doubt he had attaching the wheels in mind when he made that statement.michaels said:

I suspect that this is a sign of things to come as production is dramatically ramped up to meet demand. With rose tinted glasses it is a sign of succees:-)
