Lowell - Eon energy

Looking for some help re: Lowell working on behalf of e.on.
We were contacted back in January to say that we owed £104.83 to e.on for an old energy account. I sent files and bank statements to demonstrate our regular direct debits through to e.on and that they actually refunded us circa £20 when we closed the account in March 21. Lowell have investigated with e.on and have effectively said we do owe it due to some sort of mispayment they made to us when we moved properties during our time with them as a supplier (FYI - we continued with e.on across both addresses and just ported the energy supply).
Do we have any rights here? Lowell keep chasing for payment and whilst I am loathed to pay (particularly with all other costs at the moment), I also don't wish to incur any additional charges or issues etc.
Any help would be great - thanks

Other than an error have they said what the £104 relates to?
They refunded you £20 so not sure how they work out £104. Are you able to see your bills online or do you have them to hand. Check through and see if there is anything obvious?Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.

they are saying it's due to an address move - but during that time my direct debit continued as normal and it was effectively just moved across. There was no deficit in the account to be paid and that's why we slightly overpaid and received the credit at the end. Looking to find out what our rights are as don't want to get into a legal battle, but also don't want to have to pay additional money at a time where costs are so high.0

There have been a few payments from them, typically when we have overpaid. So are they saying they can effectively now claim that back?0
