Good afternoon.
I need some advice please.
I owned a a van in 2020 for 2 days
sent v5 to DVLA they didn't get it
went to my old address 3 weeks ago found 2 debt agency letters for parking offences in 2021
emailed marstons
explained the situation that i was not the owner,
contacted DVLA they have now corrected their system and confirm i was not the owner of the van at the time of the offence committed
contacted marstons again they said
I need to speak to bailiff
spoke to bailiff he was very rude and just plain horrible, i asked for his company details and or email to send correspondents to he said i need to "whats app him the information"
I was not happy about sending personals information over what's app so went back to mastons, they said its only him i need to speak to and they cant do anything but have now said DVLA letter is not enough and want.
* A full DVLA letter confirming the date from which you ceased to be shown as the registered keeper of vehicle WV15XUR
* Formal sales receipt to confirm the buyer details and is signed by both parties
* Proof of insurance cancellation or SORN notification
* Confirmation of vehicle tax cancellation
* A DVLA V5 registration document
How can they request information that is not even relevant to the fines that were committed in 12 2021 nearly 2 years after i owned the van?
surely a DVLA letter is sufficient evidence in a court of law?
I cant deal with that bailiff again.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Who sent the bailiff? Surely if it was Marstons then he is working on their behalf. If its been to court then you may have to go back to get any writ put a side.
Put your complaint in writing, ask for their complaints policy and follow from there.
Good luck.
PS I’m no bailiff expert but hopefully someone will come along and correct my advice if its wrong.Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.
