This may be a silly question, but NOW gives you the option of making additional voluntary contributions on the website.
I currently make 3% contributions so wasn't sure if i set the additionalmak number at 5% through the website, would it mean my contributions would be 5% a month or 8%.
Appreciate perhaps a silly question but want to be sure. Has anyone done this?

I’ve never used them so don’t know the answer to your question. If the answer isn’t obvious when you login I think your best bet is to contact them directly. By phone, or it seems they have an online chat function you can use.0

The guidance on the website says: 'Select your job contract on the dashboard, then follow the link to Additional voluntary contributions to choose how much extra you want to pay. You must choose AVCs in whole percentages, so the minimum is 1%.'dd95 said:This may be a silly question, but NOW gives you the option of making additional voluntary contributions on the website.

If you've done that (i.e. followed the AVC link), then you need to enter the amount of AVCs you want to pay. If you put 5%, it means you'll be paying your current 3% + a further 5% in AVCs.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
