TSB offer change of property

We have a mortgage offer from TSB that falls short of the amount needed for the property we were buying.
Is it likely that if we find a new cheaper house that we would be able to move the offer to that property without the need for reapplying?

Depends on the lender's policy sometimes they make new application.0

Just to be clear, this is from the intermediary website, perhaps TSB have a different policy for direct applications.

Why did they offer less can I ask ? Was it down valued at valuation stage0
