Hi there. Can anyone recommend a new inkjet printer for me please for low use.

This will be replacing a HP photo smart 6510 which has 3 x colour and 1 black cartridge.
All the new ones now seem to have tri-colour cartridges - is this ever a problem?
Thank you.

My old printer uses 4 x cartridges - 1 for each of the colours and black, so that's what I've been used to.
My current printer has a problem where it just throws out blank sheets even when you're printing, when it gets to the 4th sheet, that one gets jammed. You unjam it and clear the error message and it does it again.
We have managed to fix this by clearing the print spooler, but can't seem to do it this time and hubby is saying to just buy a new printer.
We had an Epson printer previously and I remember it not letting you scan if one of the cartridges were emptyStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670
