Trivial question, but I know there are very similar tarts made in England (possibly elsewhere, I think Canada has a version too) that is pretty similar to this Scottish tart but cannot find the name of them, unless they are simply called butter tarts.  I seem to remember them having a specific name in England.
Other related question, what sort of individual tart cases are used, I mean the ones that are almost the shape of a tin of tuna (rather than being made in a muffin type tin), cannot seem to find them without knowing the name.
Thanks

    Canadian currant tart?

We used to know it as Canadian tart… but when I add currant in there, Google gives me more familiar photos.

sorry I don’t know the name of the baking tin, but perhaps go through Lakeland baking tins and see if there is anything similar just so you can find the name?

There are a number of individual pie and quiche tins on amazon which should be suitable, I have never come across this tart before and had to look the recipe up. It sounds nice but I imagine it is quite rich.

Thanks, individual quiche tins is the way to go I think, especially as those have a removable base.  Thanks.
