In defence of the dispenser, it allows you to make a raisin loaf overnight, and have a fresh, warm loaf for breakfast. Unless, that is you want to get up at 3am to add the raisins manually:rolleyes:
However, tbh, IME the raisins and seeds don't get too mashed if you add them at the start.

I have ordered this from Amazon for my partner who needs a new bread machine. His was a Homeworks. I just sniffed when I saw it, and gloated inwardly about my ownership of the Panny SD253! Superior or what???:D
Anyway, I have never used the dispenser for the nuts and seeds. Infact my panny rarely sees the light of day as I am dieting at the moment and the bread is just too tempting.
I had a MR one before which always left the paddle buried in the bread, but my Panny never has.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I never remeber to add anything when the beeps happen so I just chuck it all in at the beginning. I've never had any issues with raisins getting mashed.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
