Reduce AVCs now or continue at same level?

However the current market trend is clearly downwards and still dropping.How do you know? If you did know then you would be the richest person in the world.Should I reduce (or stop?) my AVCs during the current climate?Why would you want to stop buying investments cheaper than they were in 2021 but wait until they are more expensive again before buying them?

I put a couple of bonuses into my AVC's about 20 years ago and they built up quite nicely too until I retired and the government took it all back (and more) as I had exceeded my LTA. The LTA didn't exist when I put the money in and I could have used it much more effectively back then. Death and taxes....0
