Hi all,
I've not been and had my eyes checked for a few years due to Covid and not getting round to making an appointment. I found out my scheme had been cancelled in January and had been paying £16 a month to get lenses every 3 months as I'm an infrequent user and already have a couple of extra boxes surplus. I've suspended the payments for 6 months (max) at a time. Without the scheme it's £60 for eye test and contact lens check together, free with the scheme and you also get 10% off Boots products and 50% off glasses which may be considerably more than online sources.
I'm now wondering whether to reinstate my account or if I have been throwing my money away and there's a better alternative with contact lens providers online and online glasses suppliers?
The lenses are Acuvue daily ones, astigmatism on one side so good quality.
