he is looking at game the 40gb console +3 games need for speed, skate,fifa 08 for £350.
can we beat that?

PCWORLD have the 60GB version in stock with 3 games for £29 extra... Might be more expensive but the 60GB versions are said to be the better machines as the 40GB are stripped down (Wont play ps2 games)0

PS2 games played on a PS3 look poor, they have a reduced quality. Even Sony have admitted that the PS3 is poor, thats why the developer of the PS3 was sacked. In my opinion the XBox360 Elite is a better choice and the deals are better. The 360 has better online facilities than the PS3.
