Council Tax rebate

We moved into a family members home in December 2021 but we paid our band-a council tax on our old house for the past 3 years will we still be eligible for the tax rebate i can’t find any info on when the rebate starts from, is it just from April 2022?

    The rebate will be paid according to residence at 1st April 2022, as simple as that.  Where you lived and paid council tax for the past how ever many years is of no relevance.
