JBSP REMORTGAGING

Wondering if with a JBSP mortgage, is it straightforward to remortgage when affordable, and remove the non occupying borrower? Has any one got any experience of doing this that they could share?
Thanks in advance!

I dont actually know the answer, but I think it should be fine. The other person is only on the mortgage, so no transfer of equity is needed.

@emlou71 What ACG said, it's fairly straightforward as long as you meet affordability on the sole income.

Thank you for replying. I’m assuming that also but wasn’t sure if it would be more complicated than a usual remortgage.
