Buying a flat with cladding

Hello, the flat in question has already been allocated funds to have the cladding removed under the government scheme, should I still stay away from such a purchase? Thanks.

@snowqueen555 Assuming you need a mortgage, afaik, lenders still need to see an EWS1 with an acceptable rating to lend on such properties. If the remedial work hasn't been carried out, it's unlikely that an EWS1 will be in place.

Ok I thought as much. One of the estate agents has said some people will still lend on it, but at the minute I have cancelled that viewing. There are a couple of flats in the building up for sale and neither have mentioned cash buyers, I assume they think it can be mortgaged.
