Mortgage with German employer

I can earn a lot more money working for a German company, living in the UK. It would be salaried.
Is that going to make it difficult to get a mortgage? Obviously income fluctuates with the exchange rate. I heard that some banks have issues with income in Euros. I'll have to do my own tax as well I suppose, thanks brexit.

Your going to struggle. But it might still be possible. Thanks. It's looking like the only way I can afford a house in the UK in an area I want to live in, prices are so insane. If I can earn 50% more working for an EU company then I'd have the cash, but maybe not be able to get anyone to lend to me.0
