Tax code question

ok - so for the last 2 years I've had a tax code that includes the basic allowance, married allowance and wfh allowance. all that shows on the website is the first 2, not the third. It's only on paper received from HMRC and then confirmed by talking to them that the wfh bit was, and still is, applicable.
and no matter what my contract might say - that my workplace is at X - it will include somewhere about the employer being able to amend when suitable. So I work at X but need to work in Glasgow or Barry Island or wherever to do something for a couple of months. That's normal. And the pandemic has made a percentage of wfh normal as well. Yes if wfh was impossible (as proved the case for some colleagues) then there needs to be a negotiation for an individual to be able to work 100% in the office. This has continued "post" pandemic.
Not really an issue for me overall - I have appreciated being at home a couple of days a week - good work/life balance - but for me being in the office has been beneficial both mentally and for the work I do. It's a moot point currently as I'm being made redundant so wfh in the future will depend on whatever, if any, new job I find.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. From the first page after logging in you would go to,
Pay As You Earn (PAYE).
Then you should at least one of these two choices,
Check your latest tax code change
Check current tax year
The second choice would show your tax code, for example 1395M, with a hyperlink to a new page. On that new page there would be another hyperlinkCheck your tax-free amount
And that shows how your tax code has been made up.
If you don't have the second option maybe your employer hasn't reported your wages under the Real Time Information system?1 -

plus WFH (as we can't go to the office when we have covid, which I have had)
No covid related wfh claims now...English | Cymraeg
You must read the following before making a claim
Guidance has changed for the new tax year
The guidance for claiming tax relief for working from home has changed for expenses on or after 6 April 2022.Claiming tax relief on or after 6 April 2022
You can claim if your employer has not already paid your expenses and you have additional household costs as a result of working from home.
One of the following must also apply:
- there are no appropriate facilities available for you to perform your job on your employer's premises
- the nature of the job requires you to live so far from the employer's premises that it is unreasonable for you to travel to those premises on a daily basis
- you are required, under government restrictions, to work from home
Facilities exist at the work place for you to work, its not due to unreasonable distance, and it is NOT government mandated anymore, just your companies choice so really doubt you can get wfh on that basis.
