In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. If I report a planning breach, will it show up in the searches when I'm selling my property?

If the fan is very noisy, the environmental health department may be interested.Have you got together with neighbours to explain to the neighbour that their fan is causing you all upset? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1

I used to work in Planning Enforcement. Various actions may be taken if there is a breach of Planning. They could be asked to submit a retrospective Planning Application or apply for a Certificate of Lawfulness..
They may be asked to take it down.
Or there may be no breach, in which case there is nothing TO do.
Or, usually, too much time has passed since the alleged breach was committed and therefore there is nothing can be done.I used to be seven-day-weekend2
