12 k amex debt...but cant get a balance transfer card

i have a 12k amex balance but cant get any balance transfer cards....i pay the minimum payment each month..can yanyone help please?

    Could you increase your income and/or reduce your outgoings perhaps? Not being able to get a balance transfer card may seem like a problem but in fact it's probably a good thing as it will prevent you from racking up an even larger debt.
  • its hard ......i pay the minimum payment...500  a month...cant get  apay increase...and my rent is 650 a month...not sure what do do?

    Well there`s lots you can do, dependant on your situation, your choices range from debt management, all the way up to bankruptcy.

    Your circumstances will dictate which option is best for you, could be you just need to budget better, or possibly debt management may be the way to go.

    Is the Amex debt your only debt ???
