Asda or Tesco?

We have both in our nearest town. For years I've favoured Tesco, as the range seems to be wider and the produce better. I am currently trying out their delivery pass-£7.99 a month.
Now I see Asda has a midweek annual pass for £35- that's a saving of over £50 a year, and midweek suits me just as well. I order once a week on average.
I am a club card member, so there's that. I cook a lot of food from scratch and we go through a lot of fruit or veg. I don't know if the saving on the pass is worth it if I'm never going to be able to get what I need or for it to be bad quality.
Does anyone have any experiences of both and how do you rate them?

You can turn clubcard points into money to spend on your delivery saver - you get 3x the value when you do this, so annually Tesco would work out at £32 if you paid in clubcard vouchers.

I've used both, but I don't have a strong opinion either way - I think a lot of pros and cons are regional, as I've had great service in one area then moved to another where there's never things in stock etc.
