Unsubscribe from 'Notifications' on here

I currently get 'notifications' (top right of the screen - Notifications / Messages / Bookmarks Profile) whenever anyone comments on any thread I've ever commented on.

Is it possible to unsubscribe from *some* of these?

I could ask in Site Feedback, but thought I may get a better response here!

To unsubscribe from some threads only, click the little bookmark icon that appears to the right of the thread title.

The icon will be solid when you are following a thread, and an outline when you are not.

With respect that's not quite what was asked - that only addresses Bookmarked threads. The OP is talking about "bell" notifications when a reply is posted on any thread the OP has posted on, even if it is not bookmarked.

@J_B I don't think what you're asking can (currently) be done with this forum software implementation.

Sadly, that's 'one size fits all' and I can't unsubscribe from *some* threads - just all!

Our forum software providers do actually have some improvements for notifications in the pipeline in the coming months, so I wouldn't rule anything out.
