Armed Forces Income Tax vs Other Employment in Scotland

in Cutting tax
Hi, I live in Scotland and I'm the process of completing a tax return for 2021/22 which will be based, predominantly, on an armed forces employment/income prior to leaving at the end of Mar 22. However, there is also a 3-month component from a new employment, held during an overlapping resettlement period (Jan to Mar 22) . Has anyone had to deal with this wrt differences between Scottish and English income tax bands? Basically, the military income should be taxed as per English rates but the new job on Scottish rates. Any hints / tips / good questions to ask HMRC?

If you lived in Scotland then all income will be taxed at Scottish rates. What is your tax code - SxxxxL I suspect. MOD pays an annual allowance to offset any additional tax liability from living in Scotland. If you moved you will pay tax according to where you lived the longest.
