@stekelly1 You should be fine on that front, plenty of mainstream lenders will only ask for anything from 0-3 months of bank statements.

In a similar position -did a bit around the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Any idea who will take less than 3 months? Aiming for 60% LTV if that helps.

So you have a 40% deposit.
If you have a steady income and normal job it could be easy.
However maybe using a broker to Check you credit file and search the market for a suitable lender and the best deal for your circumstances might be a good idea.

Thanks Dimbo61. Will be about 3.5x combined salary. Mortgage broker told me to wait it out until 3 months has gone by

@ajtrout Can't really name any lenders as that could be construed as advice and the same lender can ask for 0,1 or 3 statements for different cases depending on the specifics and what they are able to verify automatically using information they already have access to.

And also, gambling transactions don't mean an automatic no. It depends on the lender, the amount and frequency showing on the bank statements.

Halifax didn't ask for anything other than one payslip.

With a recent Nationwide application (through a broker) there was no documentation at all required by the bank but on a previous Nationwide one I had to give latest bank statement so I think it can differ even with the same bank.
