Sent forms off, certificates sent back to me in France
I also have a claim ongoing with them for my husband, who died some 10 years ago. Believe that I am entitled to some of his pension have only just found out about this, so have sent two letters off to them, both registered post, not even an acknowledgment.

You filled in the above and sent it with your birth certificate, marriage certificate and your husband's death certificate?

According to the formNote also-
We will tell you when we will make the first payment and how much it will be for in £ sterling. You can check your payments on account statements. The statements may show your National Insurance number next to any payments we have made. If you think a payment is wrong, get in touch with us straight away.
We will consider your claim for State Pension. This usually takes around 8 weeks from the date we receive your claim.

Who is 'them' ?jenban25 said:Nothing happened on the due day, 4 weeks after my birthday (23rd May). Live in france, which makes it almost impossible to ring them. Gave them all of the information needed to pay into my bank in France. Did not get a letter of intent, should have been sent to my mothers house in Norfolk as this is the my postal address in the UK. But all of my other mail is sent to my address in France. Read on this site that I should have been given a number to quote to them, did not receive this.
