Skipton mortgage

Hi, I’ve applied via broker with skipton,
valuation was received yesterday and on the tracker it says pending then below it says information required. The same for the underwritng.
Any idea’s how long I can expect to wait for my offer? Full application went in 2 weeks ago.

Thank you for your reply, I spoke to them earlier on a live chat and they said the same. Panicking as my offer was accepted 6 weeks ago and another company wouldn’t offer the full amount. Vendor is getting inpatient. Skipton seem much better to be fair.

I was worrying as it said pending information that the valuation was lower than offer. Fingers crossed it’s all ok!

The previous lender wouldnt offer the full amount because of you or because the property came back valued lower?

    Ah ok fair enough.

Let us know how you get on as with what you have said it sounds like it has been down valued.

@emlou71 I think it's because you mentioned "pending information that the valuation was lower than offer"

Perhaps it's too late in the day but your broker should be able to give them a call and find out whether the down-valuation is material (impacts your borrowing and/or rate) or not.

Sorry my wording was wrog earlier..it only said valuation received-pending information ( and i was worrying that it may have been down valued). I have since received my offer so hopefully not too much longer. Searches have been carried out already.
