Flying out soon on holidays and expecting the worst in terms of airport queues.
We're flying with Easyjet so although we'll be checked in we'll need to do a bag drop.
Wondering has anyone been through Belfast International and used Easyjet with cabin bags recently.
What way does that work there? Is it automated? Is there a separate queue for bag drop compared to checkin? How long before a flight can you drop your bags off? Do both people have to be present to drop the bags off or can one person drop off the two cases?
Our tickets say bag drop opens 2 hours before but that feels pretty tight if there are the sort of queues we're likely to see over the summer.

Bag drop is not flight specific so providing you're not the first flight of the day it will be open more than two hours before your flight and they'll take your bags just fine. If they have check-in it will be one desk versus multiple ones (but one queue) for bag drop. I was through Aldergrove a month ago on an early morning flight, security was 15 minutes1

We've some flights here soon but the ones i'm particularly worried about are during the July fortnight. Aldergrove hasnt a good rep at the best of times over the summer, let alone when they'll be facing staffing issues too.0
