Mortgage Funds Release

First time poster but I've found these forums really helpful during our mortgage process.

We exchanged contracts yesterday morning with completion set for today. Our solicitor has submitted certificate of title to NatWest yesterday morning which has been received. 

Our solicitor has stated it's best endeavour to complete today and could slip to tomorrow depending on when funds are released. Our seller is really adamant that we need to complete today.

Does anyone here know how long it can take NatWest to release funds, just trying to understand what chance we have to complete today and if there's anything I can do to try and move things along.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
