When I sell my house, is it worth stashing £50,000 in Premium Bonds.

Could be, depends on if you want fairly instant access (under 1 week) but plan to hold for 2 or more months (you have to have them for a whole calendar month before they go in the draw). I would look elsewhere if they money is for the long term 2 plus years.
