Amazon adding to price when logged in - maybe just for Prime Members

If there are alternative prices they are displayed when you are logged in - you don't need to log out to see them

Amazons bold on an item they were selling with prime at £11.25 - "New (19) from £8.99  & FREE Delivery"

I've noticed that Amazon prices on a Google search aren't always correct when I click through to the site, which is annoying. They've definitely been higher on the site than on the advert.

They are not up to the minute prices on a search engine (can be days/weeks old) and Amazon prices sometimes change several times in an hour - MSE recommended this Amazon price tracker if you want to see previous price points
