Missed Events insurance

Has anyone else got caught out buying “missed events “ policy on Ticketmaster ie ? I nearly always buy insurance, for the first time I tried to claim on it , 1 out of 4 tickets wasn’t used due to ill health. I was told by allianz It doesn’t cover anyone living outside of Eire , the ticket I bought was for Ed Sheeran playing in Northern Ireland, I reside in Northern Ireland but the policy only covers me in the south of Ireland, how is this allowed to be sold . Ive been offered a £15 refund on premium but as I said I frequently buy insurance, also this doesn’t help when, Im over £80 out of pocket
