Council Tax Rebanding

Hi, new to the forum, so apologies in advance if this ends up on the wrong discussion page.
Have a long standing issue with my Council Tax banding, and have asked the VOA to look at various evidence submitted, only to be informed this evidence did not meet the required criteria. It seems to be the case that the initial tax band process was done by area, rather than by properties, as although we live in a small 2 bedroom terraced bungalow, we are in the same tax band as 3/4 bedroom houses just around the corner. Has anyone else experienced this ?

With only 8 CT bands and more than 8 house types it is inevitable that different house types will be in the same band and because of the width of the bands, one house type could be at the bottom whereas another type could be at the top of the same band
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

If the evidence didn’t meet the criteria I’d send them new evidence.. I went back and forward with them, I sent three emails listing similar homes in the area before they agreed to carry out a review.. It was only 4 weeks ago so I’m still waiting for the outcome.
