My SD card won't work

Last resort guys.
The 1GB SD card for my IPAQ has stopped being recongnised by both my IPAQ and PC... does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this???
I can always buy a new one - cheap enough - and I've backed up all the important info on it previously - but I'd really like to fix it if possible!
Any ideas appreciated!

It is likely to be dead if tested on two devices.0

Who made it?
Most decent memory makers provide lifetime warranties with their memory cards you could contact them for a replacement.0 -
