You & the solicitors need to go agree on a completion date with the seller and his/her solicitor. You then work towards that.

How long did it take overall for your searches to complete?

My searches took in total just under three weeks. I dont want to keep pestering my solicitor although they are getting paid for this. She said she will write the search report not. Thinking if end of May is realistic for completion.

This is more a general house-buying question than anything to do with your mortgage, so you might be better asking this sort of stuff on the house-buying board.

Usually once your search results have come back, your solicitor will report back to you and also raise their full list of enquiries.
Those will go to the vendor's solicitors and there may be some back and forth to get responses that everyone is happy with - which can take time.
