So I should just go ahead and install them and if they come knocking ask for forgiveness?

It's probably similar to those that used to restrict having vans, caravans parked on your drive - rarely enforced.NoobSolar said:If you are the freeholder, I struggle to understand what on earth their hold over you would be.PV total 19.8 kW system:

Yes, that's them. Others have put up panels facing the road, and breached other covenants for that matter, and so going to go ahead anyway.94JDH said:

Its more of an issue when you come to sell. The conveyancers will ask about it and probably make you pay for a worthless indemnity policy.RoadToRiches said:So I should just go ahead and install them and if they come knocking ask for forgiveness?2 -
Don't ever intend to sell, may do equity release and may have to if I had to go into long term care but otherwise it's my forever home.Meatballs said:

Your house builder will only be interested in what fees they might extract from you; otherwise it's not economic to try to enforce a covenant.RoadToRiches said:...in respect of which consent the Transferee shall pay the Transferors reasonable fees ...Reed2
